The Taiwan Assessment and Evaluation Association (TWAEA) and FIBAA, a major European higher education accreditation agency based in Germany, have commenced their “Taiwan-Germany Joint Accreditation Program.”

On November 29th 2018 Mr. Lars Weber, Division Manager Institutional and International Procedures at FIBAA visited Taipei and shared the benefits of joint institutional accreditation with a great number of Taiwan higher education institutions during a seminar talk hosted by TWAEA under the theme of “Taiwan universities advancing towards Europe.”

Aside from enhancing the international profile, strengthening competitive advantages, and receiving valuable guidance on institutional management, universities that successfully undergo the “Taiwan-Germany Joint Accreditation Program” will benefit from increased student mobility. Higher education institutions attending the seminar expressed great interest, underlining their commitment to internationalization. TWAEA will continue to expand its international programs and assist Taiwan higher education institutions in their pursuit of international cooperation opportunities.
