TWAEA Delegates Travel to Bangkok for Exchange Activities with Japan's JUAA and Thailand's ONESQA
To foster closer connections with international professional evaluation organizations, the Taiwan Assessment and Evaluation Association (TWAEA) has actively promoted mutual visits with the Japan University Accreditation Association (JUAA) and the Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment (ONESQA) of Thailand since 2017. These visits aim to continually exchange experiences and opinions on international knowledge and trends each year.
From 2020 to 2023, to ensure continuous international interaction despite the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the inter-organization exchange and study activities were held online. In 2024, for the first time since the pandemic, the activities resumed in a physical format, hosted by Thailand's ONESQA. The theme of this event was “Quality Assurance (QA) and Qualifications Framework (QF),” focusing on an in-depth discussion on Thailand and the ASEAN Qualifications Framework, as well as the latest developments in external quality assurance among the three parties. During the on-site interactive experience, representatives from TWAEA, JUAA, and ONESQA presented diverse perspectives and views on related issues. This exchange of international experiences and the enhancement of evaluation expertise aim to jointly promote quality improvement in the field of international higher education and continuously optimize in-depth cross-border exchanges and cooperation.
